Perfect Murder Now at Sea Kayaker Magazine

Updated June 9, 2013

David Gillette is dead from sea kayaking by following safety instruction exactly as recommended in Sea Kayaker Magazine, April 2013, p. 31. No, he was not murdered by a paddle float rescue, admitted to be bogus by Mr. Matt Broze (Sea Kayaker Magazine Murders and Accomplices ). David Gillette was murdered by an "assisted rescue", often described as more reliable than a "paddlefloat rescue" in Sea Kayaker Magazine and the various books on sea kayaking. Both rescues are fraudulent and murderous for the simple reason that they cannot get a victim out of the water, keep him out, and get to safety. Pretty obvious but thanks to Sea Kayaker Magazine for publishing these details. You see, they would have been dead as a magazine 2 decades ago if they did not continue the safety fraud of the industry standard. So they published and recommended the wise and honest words of John Dowd and the recently deceased Derek Hutchinson: " In this book I would like to emphasize rescue techniques other than the Eskimo roll because a backup technique is mandatory...given that relatively few sea kayakers will ever roll successfully and because workable alternative techniques are too often neglected...The great advantage of the Sea Wing (sponsons) is that it leaves the paddler in a more stable position than before the capsize." (John Dowd, Sea Kayaking, 3rd edition, 1997, pp.90-95) and "The Paddlefloat is not really a rough water rescue. During trials I found the SEA WING (sponsons) ... very comforting. I paddled out to sea in rough, windy conditions...I was able to sit on my rear deck-not something I would normally do at sea...The rescue potential is obvious." (Derek Hutchinson, The Complete Book of Sea Kayaking, pp.104-111) but continued to recommend the deadly paddlefloat and assisted rescue frauds among other safety instruction designed to prevent victims from getting out of the water, keeping out, and getting to safety. These details and more are contained at Perfect Murder Now at Sea Kayaker Magazine

Why prevent the deaths of American citizens in kayaks and canoes when the jobs of police officers and the Canadian Coast Guard (in the case of the Gillette murder), are among the many public service jobs usually involved in the recovery and dispositions of victims' bodies, plus jobs at funeral homes, churches and so on, maintaining even more jobs through these needless and cruel deaths,  in an uncertain economy. Since I invented and patented sponsons in 1987, over 2,000 Americans have died in canoes and kayaks (U.S. Coast Guard BARD), but thousands of jobs have been created and maintained to continue to murder as many citizens as possible through through completely bogus canoe and kayak safety instruction. In America the American Canoe Association maintains this deadly murder of Americans through their treasonous influence on the U.S. Coast Guard, that has for decades granted U.S. Coast Guard safety exemptions for canoes and kayaks. Exemptions form the Coast Guard's "Level Flotation Standard" that is achieved by use of my sponsons. So Sea Kayaker Magazine is as compliant with the U.S. Coast Guard in murdering Americans as Al Queda. But why prevent the deaths of American children like the little girl on the cover of Sea Kayaker, April 2013. Or these little Girl Guides? Just a question, from Tim.

It is just the right thing to do. Homemade 50 cent sponsons can be clipped within 5 seconds to any kind of open canoe, sea kayak, recreational kayak, or sit-on-top kayak for foolproof, lifesaving stability: Designed for the same effect as the sponsons used on historic Atlantic and Pacific Ocean crossings by kayak and canoe. Currently there is no means of rescue for any type canoe or kayak, only lies about paddle floats, printed and acknowledged by Sea Kayaker Magazine, and other deadly lies killing approximately 2,000 Americans since Sea Kayaker Magazine and Canoe and Kayak Magazine acknowledged sponsons superiority for the future of canoe and kayak safety:

Any two Ten Year Old Girls are able to rescue themselves without any instruction or practice (they just clip sponsons onto gunwales in an emergency, within 5 seconds, with 50 cent foam sponsons), then paddle a flooded canoe to shore at 2 knots, even standing up, but normally seated on seats. Both sponsons are normally clipped at both gunwales, like the left sponson, permitting self-bailing of most of the water by leaning to one side. In order to permit total flooding for this picture, it was necessary to clip one sponson 6 inces higher than the other, so water could flow over one gunwale. These girls (or any normal ten year old children) can rescue any other victims in the water, even obese or disabled adults, who only need to crawl over a gunwale, and be paddled to shore at about 2 knots. The canoe weighs at least 2,000 lbs., flooded. Simple: Any suitable buoyancy, like 50 cent foam floats that are clipped onto gunwales in 5 seconds by any two 10 year old girls, who easily rescue themselves and anyone else. Very simple, cheap, 50 cents and a foolproof means of saving themselves, like the universal life rings around any waterfront.

This canoe has one sponson deliberately set higher, to ensure maximum flooding (about 2,000 lbs.). The 7 and 10 year old girls paddle this canoe at about 2 knots, and can pick up victims in the water, like any Life Raft. Set the one sponson properly (lower), and the canoe is almost entirely self-bailing by leaning on one sponson!

Homemade 50 cent sponsons can be clipped within 5 seconds to any kind of open canoe, sea kayak, recreational kayak, or sit-on-top kayak for foolproof, lifesaving stability. CO2 sponsons provide the same by pulling a rescue cord. Never in the history of America have so many been murdered for so little!

In the February 2012 of Sea Kayaker, p.4, above the "Freya Rides Again" article, after 18 years, Mr. Broze himself first mentions sponsons in Sea Kayaker Magazine: "a fixed outrigger paddle float or an inflatable sponson system will probably work best to stabilize the swamped
kayak."!

When quoting a well-documented and very cruel liar like Mr. Matt Broze in Sea Kayaker Magazine, it is important to carefully include the entire context of his sponson reference, in case he is trying to amend his lies about sponsons over the past 18 years and 2000 American canoe
and kayak deaths, in case he is trying to respond to his reputation in this webpage, FBI notification on this webpage available by Google and so on:
"The best stabilization is likely another kayak and kayaker or two, creating a solid raft by bracing across the deck and helping with reattaching spraydecks and pumping. If other kayaks aren't availableto make a raft, a fixed outrigger paddle float or an inflatable sponson system will probably work best to stabilize the swamped kayak. If no paddle float or other stabilizing device is available, then the paddler must somehow be ready to brace all the while he is reentering,
attaching the spraydeck and pumping. Once your kayak has been stabilized and pumped out, you should resume paddling only if that appears to be the best option. Staying in a stabilzed mode might be the best option if you are far from shore and the conditions are still beyond your paddling capabilities. Why risk having to capsize and pump all over again if you are well stabilized, relatively warm, and know that rescuers have been contacted and are on the way?" (p.4, Sea Kayaker Magazine, February 2012)

Well of course the 2 kayak idea murdered David Gillette because, as any fool knows: "You can't seal the sprayskirt, and you can't keep both hands on the paddle while pumping." (Sea Kayaker Magazine, February 2003, p.29) "The most effective way of using a handheld bilge pump in rough seas is to lift the bottom of your PFD up and shove the pump down between the spray skirt and your belly. This way is slow and awkward, but you can pump with the spray skirt completely sealed. Practice it." (p.27, Sea Kayaker Magazine, June 2006.) Matt Broze, "Pumping Out after Paddle Float Rescue", Paddlewise, Wed, 20 Jun 2001 02:36:43 -0700: "...obviously there are going to be certain combinations of clothing and spraydecks that don't allow a pump down the front. Please try it and report back (if you
don't knock yourself out and drown after hitting your chin)." The idea to shove the pump down the top of the sprayskirt requires unfastening the PFD, since the tops of sprayskirts normally extend some distance underneath the PFD.

(It is good to have Mr. Broze mention sponsons now, 18 years late, in view of the letter, June 29, 2001, from the American Canoe Association, ACA Black, to be seen in my book Canoe and Kayak Scam Kills 1000 Americans, pp. 13-14, that was reviewed on Amazon.com by a participating ACA whitewater and sea kayak instructor; lying to the Attorney General of Florida about sponsons and paddle floats. Florida has always had the highest canoe and kayak death rate in America. The Darlington School children listened to the cries of Clay McKemie and Sean Wilkinson, both 14 years old, screaming for help and dying in the night near Suwannee, Florida, February 2005, without either canoe sponsons or kayak sponsons; although they could have rescued themselves in 5 seconds with 50 cent sponsons like any 10 year old children. ACA Dillon won the Osama bin Laden Toilet Award that year, for "significant and conspicuously cruel numbers of deaths on American soil of American citizens or American schoolchildren". Back then the ACA's own magazine "Paddler", together with Canoe and Kayak Magazine and Sea Kayaker Magazine were in full throat anti canoe and kayak sponsons howl, endangering as many Americans as possible and using the deaths to try to stampede more potential victims into fraudulent but profitable instruction schemes, with levels of certifications for practising levels of instruction fraud like a Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme. This type of layered ponzi instruction scheme is practised in both Canada and the UK, with very significant death rates and profit, as well as great fun for those few who truly enjoy murdering innocents.)

Broze seems to be incredibly stupid, considering this point, but is he stupid enough to be not criminally responsible: ditto for the 2 magazines? Why deny victims sponsons, this is human lifesaving after all, like One former police officer (Dallas, Texas), saved by his own efforts about 10 miles off the coast of Texas, paddling
through heavy seas to shore: "I am Austin Davis. My life was saved by your floats. [See article in Sea kayaker Dec 97] There was no way in my situation that any other means of recovery would have saved me or allowed me to get home upright in my hypothermic condition. Your opinion about the rolls and paddle floats mirror my real life experience. Thanks for the gear that saved my life. I hope the article in sea kayaker helps your cause." But Broze deliberateliy lies about paddlefloats and sponsons, deliberately not stating the obvious safety of Paddling to Safety with Sponsons attached, warming up and "staying in stabilized mode", as his friend John Dowd, the original owner of Sea Kayaker Magazine pointed out 14 years ago. Instead, Broze leaves them to die, with no means to get to safety: "Staying in a stabilized mode might be the best option if you are far from shore and the conditions are still beyond your paddling capabilities. Why risk having to capsize and pump all over again if you are well stabilized, relatively warm, and know that rescuers have been contacted and are on the way?" Here Broze admits the paddlefloat is not a real rescue, since the victims are not able to reach safety unless they are lucky enough "that rescuers have been contacted and are on the way?" In Japan or any other country a liar like Broze would have found a more honourable solution to himself by now.

Note that Roger Schumann, "Lessons Learned", pp.35-37, regarding the Perfect Murder at Sea Kayaker, April 2013, also lies exactly like Mr. Broze, completely ignoring the fact that the victim and rescuer were, as openly admitted for many years above, unable to pump out and stabilize the victim's kayak: repeatedly capsizing. This is the business plan. Roger is a certified ACA instructor self-admitting to have been a deadly would-be paramedic who has found work at Sea Kayaker, where killing innocent people is rewarded. Neither Broze nor Schumann have to my knowledge participated in gang rapes of drunken teenage girls or molested young children. But they have lied for 2 decades to as many children and adults as possible to deliberately murder as many kids as possible, plus adults, in canoes and kayaks. They have consistently over 20 years denied victims any means to stabilize their kayaks while knowing they are unable to even pump out, even with help from a rescuer who has "In addition to hauling along a bunch of safety gear, he also brought years of experience to the table. He'd taken skills courses from professionals, and he had practiced (sic) rescue skills at least annually...." Poor old Jim apparently has been defrauded of much money for lessons, from liars like Roger, in order to gain psychological trauma as well, over the death of his friend, that Schumann and Broze know could not be rescued, not even pumped out. Note that Schumann continues the lies that are never-ending, drysuits and beacons next (why not an ever-present Coast Guard helicopter shadowing the shakey expedition, or every shakey expedition, since all canoes and kayaks capsize sometime?); but never mentions 50 cent sponsons that 10 year old kids and US Military kayakers can employ in seconds. Drunken young girls are perhaps safe from gang-rape by Broze, Schumann and the others. But completely sober girls, boys and their parents are in deadly peril of being murdered in any canoe or kayak. No gang rapes but equally criminal behavior at Sea Kayaker and the American Canoe Association. This is the ACA murder business plan, endorsed by all current magazines.

These CO2 or Homemade 50 Cent Sponsons cannot be Marketed in this Industry Climate, Leaving No Means for Rescue: "we are only a moment of inattention and a capsize away from an emergency situation" (Sea Kayaker Magazine, Oct. 2011, p.7).

These 5 second CO2 Sponsons (with 80 lbs. buoyancy, 5 second inflation, and back-up oral inflation), are stowed in 2 tiny containers, A in above diagram. On canoes, these containers blend into the gunwales and weigh 1 lb. each. All CO2 sponsons are manufactured identically to Coast Guard approved PFDs. The 50 cent foam sponsons D are stowed on deck or deployed in water within 5 seconds. As drawn here, they appear as rolled-up kids' camp sleeping pads. Very simple, designed for the same effect as the sponsons on the canoe and kayaks crossing Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, (Lindemann 1956, Gillett 1980).

Homemade 50 cent sponsons, D in the diagram, and stowed as shown on rear deck labelled D, could be any kind of closed-cell, re-cycled foam. Any child or adult without instruction can clip sponsons to point C within 5 seconds to save their life and pick up any other dying victims in the water. Strap B of early model sponsons is not needed. To date about 2,000 Americans have been cheated and murdered for such simple, inexpensive and foolproof sponsons, to sell drysuits, instruction and other equipment costing a thousand times more than sponsons; and to murder American citizens and their children apparently for the fun of it.

"basic, no nonsense...dramatically increase...safety
and...capabilities... It should be noted that within the North
American civilian sea kayak industry there is some controversy...Sea
Wings' direct competition with...the paddle float...the merits of Sea
Wings...far outweigh those of the paddlefloat...During the IMKP 1994
we used Sea Wings with all our rescue boats as back-up flotation/
stability for awashed kayaks needing assistance pumping out in heavy
seas. In addition, IMKP's rescue kayak was fitted with Sea Wings on a
permanent basis which allowed us to be far more stable in possible
rescue operations...Sea Wings dramatically increase re-entry
operations with capsized boats. Indeed, even with heavily loaded boats
(those approaching 1000 lbs.) most paddlers can easily re-enter the
kayak. However the most notable advantage of Sea Wings is with lightly
loaded boats; ie, those kayaks which are far less stable (more tippy)
than fully loaded boats. Recovery operations are far more difficult in
these boats and most students have extreme difficulty in mastering the
necessary techniques. This is compounded in heavy seas. Sea Wings
offers an almost guaranteed method of re-entering a lightly loaded
kayak even in heavy seas. Stability increase in heavy seas. Paddling
in extremely heavy seas is difficult. Sea Wings offer the crews an
additional method of dealing with such sea states. One of the most
dangerous situations a detachment can find itself in is that of towing
a disabled crew with full operational loads in heavy seas at night.
The employment of Sea Wings dramatically increases the safety margin.
In my opinion, this is one of the sponsons' most important
contributions to MAROPS... As an historical footnote it should be
noted that circumpolar kayakers (Greenlanders and Inuit) employed a
similar sponson/ float for stability. It differed significantly though
from Sea Wings in that it was free floating; i.e., there was
apparently no harness system and stability came from pushing down on
the float on the side of the kayak. In addition, during the late 70's
and early 80's we employed a similar system with our commo boats.
Waterproof bags were blown up and hand held to the sides of the kayak
while communication was conducted. The point here is that the idea of
some sort of support on the sides of the kayak for stability is very
old and universal." Invitational Military Kayak Paddle 1994 Evaluation
(10th Airborne, Fort Devens, MA)

Only very stupid people cannot understand sponsons. See here that the U.S. Military Special Forces Kayakers already used hand held and inflated bags. These US Army Rangers (10th Airbourne) saw my patent and understood the advantages of attaching these bags, essentially sponsons, semi-permanently to kayaks to save their lives!  These guys are neither stupid nor liars, nor do they kill their own, unlike civilians who will do so if there is profit in it. Dear Frank:

I receive so many requests (including sometimes others with your name,
but not you, obviously), but usually very experienced people who also
instruct full or part-time. Recently an experienced instructor with a
new wife and baby, acknowledging they had no rescue to save them (a
tough piece of cognitive dissonance if they are still instructing and
taking money for ideas that they know endanger children and adults),
but in this case the young guy was not doing it anymore (not enough
money to support a new family usually). And he did not want to risk
his wife and baby. So he was motivated to see exactly what I was
saying: i.e. literally life and death decisions about so-called
"safety" ideas. And he figured his own sponsons out.

He had a university education I recall, or certainly could have
graduated, given the money and opportunity. In your case, the other
Frank, or anyone else; I have to let you figure it out. You see,
anyone can understand sponsons: the US Military Special Forces at Fort
Devens (very smart soldiers who had to join the military to afford a
university grade education and they were a treat for me to speak to. I
am a bit of a military historian so I knew about their allied
battalion efforts in WW2 etc.) With you Frank, or anyone else in an
email, I don't know what you know or what you can grasp. The young
former instructor was well motivated by the safety of his wife and
baby. He figured it out. You may have a foot in all waters, as an
instructor: paddlefloating, rolling, ass rescues, beacons, drysuits
and coast guard helos. This is the Bernie Madoff pyramid scheme of the
ACA and all canoe and kayak instruction: keep paying more money for
instruction and practise, practise, but there is always more if that
doesn't work, (most victims dead by then or close.)

I like Sea Kayaker Magazine because they document the thinking of
instructors like Roger and Paddlefloat Broze. Both men I have known
for nearly twenty years and they both have a high school education.
They need their income from the fraud even though they have
participated in the killing of sponsons and about 2,000 US citizens if
you check USCG stats (BARD). They are actually not smart enough to
figure out how to extricate themselves. It is tough to murder US
children. The US Military Kayakers would not:

So Frank, you or anyone else must make a tough decision, like the US
Military, real safety or murder fraud. I shall protect your anonymity
but please consider my email to you, which will be sent (I just don't
have the time to keep repeating this), to all the others requesting
sponsons, as public knowledge. Thanks, Tim
